Paul Michael Demetry, 45, of Berwyn Heights, Md., formerly of Kennett Square, died Sunday, June 29.He was the husband of Amy Demetry of Bowie, Md.
Born in Neenah, Wis., he was a son of the late Louis Demetry, who died in 2007, and Beatrice Sasso Demetry, who lives in Kennett Square.
Mr. Demetry was a 1980 graduate of Kennett High School and a 1984 graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
He was a financial advisor working for Morgan Stanley in Maryland.
He enjoyed motorcycling and vacationing with his family in the Florida Keys. He volunteered at local prisons as a prison missionary and the Walter Reed Veterans Hospital.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children, Stephen, Sarah, and Hannah all of Bowie; two brothers, Michael J. Demetry and his wife, Bethany, of Nottingham and Mark Neil Demetry and his wife, Christina, of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Carol O’Neal and her husband, Clifton, of Middletown, Del., and Susan A. Demetry and her husband, Wayne Thomas, of Honey Brook; three nieces; and a nephew.
Services and interment were private. Contributions may be made to Demetry Children Memorial Fund c/o First National Bank of Chester County P.O. Box 514 West Chester, PA 19381-0514.
